Cookie Policy
Last updated August 5, 2026
Cookies are small values a website asks your browser to remember between visits. This page lists every cookie InPlayGuru uses and why.
The summary: we set no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies, and that is why there is no cookie banner on this site. Everything below either keeps the Service working or stays on your device.
Cookies we set
| Cookie | What it does | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
session_inplayguru |
Your session: keeps you signed in while you use the site and remembers short-lived state between pages | 45 days |
XSRF-TOKEN |
Security token that protects forms against cross-site request forgery | Browser session |
remember_web_* |
Keeps you signed in between visits so you do not have to log in every time; set when you sign in | Up to 5 years |
Local storage
Some conveniences live in your browser's local storage instead of cookies. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:
- Interface preferences: scanner layouts and columns, collapsed panels, dismissed messages and banners.
- Scanner match notes, which self-delete after 24 hours.
- A cached copy of plan prices, refreshed after one hour.
Analytics without cookies
We measure page visits and feature usage with Umami, an analytics tool self-hosted on our own servers. It is configured cookie-free: it sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser, and it never receives the content you type or a persistent identifier for you. There are no session recordings and no heatmaps.
Cookies set by partners
Three partners can set their own cookies when their components run:
- Paddle, our payment provider, when you open checkout (Paddle privacy policy).
- ProfitWell / Paddle Retain, our subscription management tool, whose script runs on our pages and may store its own identifier.
- Freshworks, our help desk, when you open the support widget or contact form (Freshworks privacy notice).
Managing cookies
Your browser can list, block or delete cookies at any time; look for the privacy section in its settings. Deleting ours simply signs you out and resets your preferences. Blocking them entirely will break signing in, since the session cookie is what keeps you authenticated.
