Glossary
This glossary explains the most common abbreviations and terms you’ll encounter while using InPlayGuru. If something in the scanner or alerts looks unfamiliar, you’ll likely find it here.
2.5+
Percentage of matches that finished with more than 2.5 total goals (i.e. 3 goals or more).
Avg
Average value.
BTTS
Both Teams To Score — both teams score at least one goal in the match.
CS
Clean Sheet — a team concedes zero goals.
FT
Full Time — the final result after 90 minutes (plus added time).
FTS
Failed To Score — a team scores zero goals in the match.
Form
A team’s recent performance across its latest matches (usually wins, draws, and losses).
HT
Half Time — the score and state of the match at the midway point.
Matched
The total amount of money matched in a specific exchange market.
MP
Matches Played — the number of games a team has played.
O / U
Over / Under — a market based on total goals scored in a match.
PPG
Points Per Game — average points earned per match. Higher values usually indicate stronger teams.
Pts
Points — total league points earned.
Stat(s)
Match or team statistics (e.g. shots, possession, corners).
+/−
The difference between two values, most commonly goals scored minus goals conceded.
